搶救蟾蜍山煥民新村　藝文界動起來

【許敏溶╱台北報導】包括導演侯孝賢等藝文界人士，今下午齊聚台北市公館蟾蜍山下的「煥民新村」，希望搶救北市最後一個山城眷村，曾在此度過40歲生日的侯孝賢說，政府與地主台灣科技大學不該看到建築物老就想拆，建議台科大三思後行。  

興建於1952年的煥民新村位在公館蟾蜍山腳下，居民多為空軍作戰司令部眷戶，藝人費玉清和張菲都在這成長，歌手伍佰剛從嘉義北上打拼時也曾落腳於此，侯孝賢則是在1987於此地拍電影「尼羅河女兒」並度過40歲生日，侯說，台科大為興建停車場、新大樓，打算將這村子拆除，希望台科大多想想，只要將此地整理乾淨，再請台科大設計系學生加以設計，便可在這舉辦各種展覽，等於是台科大校園的延伸，也保留歷史記憶，一舉兩得。
