陸軍下士洪仲丘遭虐斃案，屢次站上第一線面對洪家發言人姊姊洪慈庸，令人印象深刻，同時也讓人不禁將洪慈庸與廣大興28號遭菲國海巡船擊斃的漁民洪石城長女洪慈綪。而今(27)天下午，通樣身為洪家發言人的洪慈綪為表示心疼洪仲丘姊姊，特地從屏東北上至台中為洪家加油打氣。
陸軍下士洪仲丘案至今仍無真相，針對弟弟的枉死，洪慈庸痛批，「身為三軍統帥的馬英九默許國軍胡亂搞，他要負最大責任!」 。此外，對於馬英九總統20日下午前往洪家探視，洪慈庸表示，家屬要的不是道歉，而是真相；她也指出，知道越多案情真相，就對政府越失望。不過，她也希望弟弟的死能夠喚起社會公義。
然而，洪家人為了討公道分工合作，其中姊姊洪慈庸因口條清晰、思路清楚，面對媒體能夠有條不紊的談話成了洪家發言人，讓人不禁聯想到廣大興案中的洪家大姊洪慈綪，同樣身為被害人家屬，卻能夠堅強面對各界種種壓力。
網友也將兩人相互比較，由於兩位洪家大姊的姓名僅差一個字，並稱讚兩位洪家大姊都很了不起，相當敬佩。對此，洪慈庸表示，她的表現太軟弱，不如洪慈靖大姊堅強。不過，同樣是被害人家屬的洪慈綪則說，她很心疼洪仲丘姊姊，誇獎她做得很好堅強。
今(27)天下午洪慈綪特地從屏東北上至台中洪仲丘家中，為洪家人加油打氣並與洪仲丘的姐姐洪慈庸見面。洪慈綪也提醒洪媽媽要堅強。
