遭中國越南捕食　穿山甲恐被吃到絕種

保育人士警告，如果中國和越南繼續大量捕食穿山甲的話，穿山甲很可能會因此絕種。

據英國《獨立報》報導，國際自然保護聯盟「物種存活委員會」主席貝利(Jonathan Baillie)表示，現在有8種穿山甲皆被列為瀕臨絕種，而穿山甲主要在中國和越南進行交易。穿山甲遭到大量捕食之下，很可能因此被吃到絕種。

穿山甲在亞洲除了是高級食材外，更是中醫藥材，也是非法交易量最大的哺乳類動物。據統計，在過去十年便有超過一百萬隻野生穿山甲被獵食。該委員會另一主席查利多(Dan Challender)則認為，中國和越南政府應點算穿山甲數目並公開數據，證明野生穿山甲不再被用作商業交易。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
