英漢樹枝插頸　差2公厘穿動脈

【綜合報導】英國彼德伯勒一名父親，遭一支長38公分的樹枝，刺穿頸部，只差2公厘就刺穿動脈因而喪命。

2星期前，34歲的伍德（Adrian Wood），同友人及兒子踏單車，不料失手翻車，被一支38公分長的樹枝插入頸部，刺穿他的頸靜脈、聲帶和食道，距動脈只有2公厘。如果樹枝插中動脈，他便可能因失血過多致死。

伍德冷靜站起身，頸上插著樹枝，徒步走了大約一百多公尺求救。最後他到達醫院，進行了約6小時手術，成功將樹枝拔出。
