Jacob Karam是曼菲斯大學四分衛，除了足球踢得好，還彈得一手好琴，並會定期到兒童醫院探訪病童，但都低調行事，直到有人拜託他幫忙拿球賽門票身份才曝光。
影片中的女孩叫Breanna Bercegeay，今年11歲，上個月被確診為罹患急性髓細胞白血病 ，目前在兒童醫院接受治療，Karam彈鋼琴替她伴奏，兩人一彈一唱顯得非常開心。
曼菲斯大學運動部門其實沒有安排這樣的關懷活動，Karam是自發性前往，且從未表明自己身份，Karam說：「我來自黎巴嫩的天主教家庭，聖猶大兒童醫院創辦人Danny Thomas來自黎巴嫩。」
因此來到曼菲斯，Karam也想為這裡聖猶大兒童醫院有所貢獻，他曾與隊友到醫院參觀過各種醫療設施，不過一直存在著疑問，這些孩子真的就此得到滿足了嗎？為了深入了解只得改日再造訪。
之後Karam就定期出現，除了彈鋼琴給孩子們聽外，也跟著他們一起做些手工藝品，這些小孩包括家長，沒人知道他是大學四分衛，而他也從來不講，頂多知道他是打美式足球的。
直到有一天有家長拜託Karam，能否拿到曼菲斯大學的球賽門票，他才說：「喔！我就是曼菲斯的球員喔！」這名家長叫Dara Bertucci，還開玩笑問他：「那看得到你出場嗎？」Karam回她：「看得到啊！」
她聽了之後去google搜尋，才知道Karam的來歷，是個成績傲人的四分衛，「那一晚我真是興奮又感動，他就在這裡，所做的不是為自己，而是為了我們在這裡。」
