聯合國訂11月19日　為世界廁所日

【綜合報導】聯合國大會已決定將11月19日訂為世界廁所日，但這項日期的訂定是為了凸顯全球有25億人，沒有基本廁所設施的困境。

聯合國表示，全球70億人口中，60億人有手機，但只有45億人有廁所或公廁，因此聯合國呼籲193個成員國針對公廁問題進行改善，或採取政策來增加衛生設施和結束隨地排便。
