伊拉克新總統　庫德族政壇老將當選

伊拉克議會24日投票選舉庫德族政壇老將馬素姆(Fuad Masum)為伊拉克新任總統。剛剛當選不久的國會議長朱布里宣佈，多數議員投票選擇馬素姆成為伊拉克的新總統。報導稱，馬素姆的當選是新政府組建的重要一步，將有望終結伊拉克連月來的政治不確定。 　　

馬素姆出生於1938年，在約20年之前當選庫德自治區的首位總理。伊拉克4月30日舉行國民議會選舉，馬利基領導的法治國家聯盟在選舉中領先，贏得328個議會席位中的92席。伊拉克聯邦法院7月16日核准了大選結果。

伊拉克憲法規定，大選結果獲得批准後，議會須在15日內召開首次會議，議會將選舉產生總統，再由總統指派議會中占多數席位的黨團提名總理並組閣。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
