為何不能畫穆罕默德？　原意為禁信徒造神

法國《查理周報》因多次多次刊登嘲諷伊斯蘭先知穆罕默德漫畫，激怒穆斯林，總編輯更因此被恐怖組織「基地」列為頭號通緝要犯。其實根據伊斯蘭教教義，信徒根本不能畫出穆罕默德的任何形象，因為穆罕默德不希望成為信徒的造神對象，沒想到原意最後卻遭到曲解，反而成了不同宗教間的衝突起源。

在美國大學內從事伊斯蘭研究的阿默德（Akbar Ahmed）說：「這全和偶像崇拜有關。伊斯蘭教中，任何和真主或是聖人有關的概念均十分強烈。」、「先知知道，若信徒開始畫出他的形象，就會開始崇拜他，而他自己非常反對，更不斷強調：我只是凡人。」紐約霍夫斯特拉大學的伊斯蘭研究教授拉希德（Hussein Rashid）表示，但一些反對偶像崇拜的行動，最後卻演變成暴力攻擊。（桂家齊／綜合外電報導）
