皇家單局灌7分定勝基　明與巨人決戰第7戰

世界大賽第6戰，回到主場的皇家，一如總教練尤斯特(Ned Yost)所說：「我預感今天會贏球，我對球隊有信心。」皇家在第2局打擊大爆發，單局灌進7分奠定勝基，終場以10比0大勝巨人，兩隊將在明天的第7戰決一死戰。
 
皇家在第2局攻勢完全爆發，除了英方提(Omar Infante)被三振之外，接連敲出8支安打，打進7分，也把巨人先發投手皮維(Jake Peavy)給打退場。反觀皇家先發投手范杜拉(Yordano Ventura)，先發7局雖投出5次保送，但僅被擊出3支安打，投出4次三振，無失分，奪下勝投。
 
上一次世界大賽打至第7戰，是2011年的遊騎兵對戰紅雀，紅雀前5戰以2勝3敗落後，但靠著6、7兩戰的主場優勢逆轉奪冠，皇家能否如法炮製，重奪繼1985年以來的世界大賽冠軍，值得期待。（王翊亘／綜合報導）
