換國旗？紐西蘭2年後公投

（法新社威靈頓28日電） 紐西蘭總理凱伊（JohnKey）今天說，紐西蘭2016年將舉行具約束力的公民投票，決定是否更改國旗。

凱伊力挺放棄現有國旗，贊成以凸顯紐西蘭特色的新國旗取代。目前紐西蘭國旗的左上方為前殖民國英國國旗的「米」字圖案。

凱伊在聲明中說：「我們的國旗是我們國家認同的最重要象徵，我認為現在正是紐西蘭人考慮改變圖樣設計的時候，以便更佳反映我們作為1個現代獨立國家的地位。」

凱伊表示，副總理英格利許（Bill English）將會召集組成跨黨派委員會，為新國旗挑出若干設計圖案。

紐西蘭政府之後將在2015年舉行公投，讓民眾從委員會選定範圍中選出比較喜歡的圖案。

紐西蘭計劃2016年二度公投，民眾將在現有國旗和新國旗之間做選擇。
