漸凍人霍金接受挑戰　3子女代淋冰桶

最偉大的物理學家霍金（Stephen Hawking）本身就是漸凍人，但他前天（28日）仍勇於接受「冰桶挑戰」，不過由於他去年染上肺炎，由3名子女代父接戰。
 
在《YouTube》影片中可見，霍金坐在一旁輪椅上發言，他先稱自己非常支持冰桶挑戰這個活動，但自己去年罹患肺炎，因此不適合親自上陣。不過他的兒子羅伯、露西和提姆自願替他接受挑戰。
 
他也呼籲大眾捐款給漸凍人協會，協助消滅這種恐怖疾病，三名子女被冰水淋頭時興奮尖叫。最後霍金指名3個人，倫敦科學博物館館長、劍橋大學榮譽校長與劍橋大學校長。（余浚安／綜合外電報導）
