美國成年人接種流感疫苗比率低

非營利健康推廣組織美國健康信託公布最新研究報告指出，2012年至2013年的流感季節期間，18歲至64歲間的美國民眾中，只有35.7%接種流感疫苗。

美國健康信託（Trust for America's Health）今天公布的最新研究報告顯示，整體而言，全美民眾接種流感疫苗的比率偏低。2011年至2012年流感期間，全美民眾有41.8%接種流感疫苗，到了2012年至2013年流感季節，全美民眾有45%接種，仍然未達半數。

如果以年齡層區分，18歲以上、64歲以下的成年人，接種流感疫苗的比率最低，2012年至2013年的流感季節期間，這個年齡層只有35.7%接種。

相較之下，兒童及老年人接種流感疫苗的比率較高。

統計顯示，6個月以上、17歲以下的兒童，2012年至2013年的流感季節期間，有56.6%接種流感疫苗；65歲以上老年人接種比率則為66.2%。

美國健康信託報告也指出，每年因為流感而造成的醫療費用支出與勞工因病請假的巨額成本，總計約高達104億美元。
