敢吃「辣帝」嗎？　一般辣椒的300倍辣

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】美國「辣椒大王」柯里(Ed Currie)在上月培育出全球最辣的辣椒，並獲得金氏世界紀錄認證。這種辣椒名叫「卡羅萊納的收割者」(Carolina Reaper)，但它的辣度是普通辣椒的300倍，已經是「辣帝」等級。

據《美聯社》報導指出，辣椒的尾部看來就像蠍子尾巴，另一端是紅色的果身。通常辣椒的辣度使用「史高維爾辣度單位」(Scoville Heat Unit)，而普通辣椒的辣度多為5千度，但柯里培養出的辣椒有156.9萬度，警方用的辣椒噴霧約為200萬度。
