慈濟基金會深入菲律賓　協助風災災民重建

【陳威廷／台北報導】強烈颱海燕重創菲律賓，慈濟基金會今表示，風災後慈濟志工便深入災區協助重建，上月20日開始在重災區之一的獨魯萬市推動「以工代賑」，讓災民協助重建、物資發送，10多天來已協助人數突破16萬人次，此做法更獲美國《華爾街日報》報導。

此外，慈濟人醫會也進入災區，提供災民間眼科、牙科、小兒科、外科與一般內科等醫療服務，為風災期間受傷民眾的傷口進行清創、包紮，現已有逾千人獲得醫療協助。
