日本群馬大學附屬醫院有位40多歲男醫生，被指以腹腔鏡手術為病患切除肝臟，導致8人死亡。今天他再被控5年來，以開腹手術切除肝臟，導致10人死亡。

日本媒體報導，院方正調查這位40多歲的男醫師，為何他執刀腹腔鏡手術竟造成8人死亡，並發現這5年來，他以開腹手術為84名病患動肝臟手術，10人在術後3個月內死亡。

為病患動開腹手術切除部分肝臟，一般醫院常見，但這名醫師術後的病患，死亡率竟然高達11.9%。

院方表示，不清楚手術與患者死亡之間的關連性，已向厚生勞動省提調查的中期報告。

院方的總務課副課長尾內仁志表示，「今後還會詳加調查，再公布結果」。

厚生勞動省將根據醫療法，快則下個月到醫院內部進行調查，確認院方是否採取充分並防止同樣情況發生的對策。

日本大學醫學系教授高山忠利表示，肝臟血管多，所以手術難度高，若是專家操刀，不至於經常出現患者死亡的情況。

他說，手術案例多、有豐富經驗的醫療機構，這類手術的死亡率是整體的1%以下，死亡率逾10%，實在太高了。(中央社)
