下午近3時，一輛由黃姓司機駕駛的拖板車，從高雄市海邊路右轉進入英雄路，撞上一輛由張姓男子騎的機車，機車卡在拖板車車頭下，張男滾落在地，不幸遭拖板車右後輪輾過，肚破腸流，當場死亡。

黃姓司機表示，他當時在等紅燈，綠燈一亮即按照平常的樣子行駛，並不知道有撞到人。事故原因正由警方深入調查中。（羅琦文、李菁豪／高雄報導）
