比利時傳人質事件疑烏龍一場

比利時官員指出，警方今天在接獲報案稱有武裝男子挾持1名人質後，包圍了根特市（Ghent）1棟公寓，但可能只是虛驚一場。

檢方最初表示，有4名持械男子在西北部根特市工人住宅區的1棟公寓挾持了1名人質；並說，此事並無恐怖主義色彩。

根特檢方發言人瑟莉本絲（Annemie Serlippens）說，「我們正查看，是否有挾持人質情事」；並說，與人質有關的報案在最初「十分受到重視」。

她說，此事似乎與毒品有關。上述公寓已遭十多名警察包圍。

瑟莉本絲在現場告訴記者，最初有1名男子以電話報案稱，他看到「4名手持AK式步槍的男子」將他的朋友擄為人質。

瑟莉本絲說：「但到目前為止，我們並未發現這裡有步槍或持械男子存在的跡象，而被指受害者也否認遭到挾持。」

稍早公營法蘭德斯廣播電視台（VRT）報導，3名嫌犯走出公寓並向警方投降，但瑟莉本絲說，警方並未逮捕人犯。
