蹲冤獄17年　美婦沉冤得雪不禁痛哭

美國洛杉磯一名母親蹲冤獄17年，昨天終於出獄，她在法庭上聽聞改判消息不禁痛哭失聲。
 
美國《紐約每日新聞》報導，美國洛杉磯女子梅倫（Susan Mellen）被控在1997年殺死一名流浪漢，遭判終身監禁不得假釋。消息指梅倫曾與死者約會一次。最近洛杉磯警方發現3名流氓與該案有關，隨後證實犯行，才還給梅倫清白。
 
梅倫昨天在庭上聽聞審判時，激動痛哭，法官表示「根據我獲悉的資料，我相信梅倫清白無罪」，「我認為在這起案件中，司法是徹底失敗的」。梅倫的三名子女也都在場旁聽，其母在他們7歲及9歲時遭監禁，自此離家將近20載，聽聞法官判決時全場歡呼。（余浚安／綜合外電報導）
