金斯勒7局揮出勝利打點全壘打，助老虎隊以6比4力克印地安人，在3連戰中橫掃對手，拜皇家敗給紅襪之賜，老虎以1.5場勝差領先皇家，暫居美聯中區第1名。
金斯勒在是第7局隊友戴維斯(Rajai Davis)內野安打上壘後，從印地安人後援投手蕭(Bryan Shaw)手中揮出2發砲，助老虎隊反以4比3超前，這也是他自8月31日以來擊出的第1發全壘打。

效力印安人隊的台灣投手李振昌，8局下登板出現2次四壞球(包括1次故意四壞)，並發生兩次暴投，導致面對4名打者，只解決1人，0.1局失2分，防禦率又暴升到4.68。
