非洲俾格米人又稱尼格利羅人(Negrillo)，是非洲中部熱帶森林地區的民族，被稱為非洲的『袖珍民族』，成年人平均身高130公分至140公分。俾格米人在世界上瀕臨滅絕，8歲時即發育成熟，可以結婚。

根據新華網報導，非洲俾格米人主要分布在薩伊、剛果、加彭、喀麥隆、中非、盧安達、蒲隆地、烏干達和安哥拉，崇尚森林，男子狩獵，女子採集，沒有私有觀念，財產歸集體所有，血統按父系計算，嚴格實行一夫一妻制。

如今，中部非洲各國政府已相繼採取措施，幫助他們改變生活方式，走出森林，參加現代社會生活。但是，絕大多數俾格米人仍然依戀祖先的生活方式，喜歡繼續過封閉的原始生活。
