高雄市整夜大雨不斷，災區17台抽水機持續運作，將壕溝內的積水分散到平面側溝及污水下水道，所幸未再外溢。

高雄市水情中心統計，累積12小時的降雨以梓官區逼近200毫米最多，仁武、大社和橋頭區的降雨都超過150毫米，所幸災區的降雨是在凌晨3時30分開始約1個小時較密集，其他時間則是間歇性雨勢。

水利局於災區多個封鎖據點架設抽水機，英祥、武昌、凱旋、一心及二聖路各有2至4台抽水機，隨時待命啟動抽水。

水利局科長指出，由於沿雨水下水道的箱涵都被氣爆炸開，積水難以再循雨水下水道排到五號船渠出海，所以透過抽水機抽到鳳山雨水下水道系統，部分水流則排到污水管線，以為因應。

昨天有民眾反映抽到平面要導入側溝的水有部分回流到壕溝裡，水利局說已拉長排放管線的長度，減輕排水回流到壕溝內情形。

至於凌晨雨勢大地區，市府發布水流到滿水警戒的包括大東橋、八涳橋、潭子底、仁武橋、橋頭橋等。
