廖國龍繼菁英男子組競輪項目後，今天再接再厲於個人1公里計時賽奪金，而且還是最後關頭拉尾盤，把亞運國手巫帛宏給「攔胡」。

廖國龍與巫帛宏系出同門，分別代表美利達申騰與申騰美利達出戰，巫帛宏騎出1分07秒0338成績，廖國龍起步表現並不突出，但在末段明顯加速，結果以1分07秒032擠下同儕。

「不算攔胡啦！」廖國龍笑說，其實自己也很意外能拿金牌，因為他還在適應新車，且賽前沒機會練車，比到後段抓到感覺衝一下，結果超越巫帛宏。

而且他感冒初癒，自認狀況不好，比賽是一種另類的調整，並且不好意思地說，巫帛宏被他傳染感冒，其實是他拖累巫帛宏，「他真的很拼，其實是他贏才對。」

廖國龍難為情地說，原本應該戴口罩，結果自己白目不戴，害得不只一位隊友被傳染，「好險他們身體強壯恢復得快，而我盡力把自己調整到最好，然後專注在比賽上。」
