前王建民隊友　桑契斯將加盟中信兄弟

中信兄弟在洋將大限7月31日前找來的新洋投桑契斯(Romulo Sanchez)，已辦好工作證預定近日來台報到，2名左投湯瑪仕(Brad Thomas)、寇迪(Chris Cody)進入觀察名單。
中信兄弟領隊李文彬表示，桑契斯來台後，看他的調整表現再決定其他洋將的去留。洋砲耐克(Jim Negrych)狀況穩定，應確定續用，若有淘汰人選，應從2名左投手中挑選。
桑契斯是王建民在洋基小聯盟時期的隊友，曾在大聯盟出賽2場，留下0勝1敗、防禦率4.87成績。
2011年加入日職東北樂天金鷹隊，2012年返美與光芒隊簽下小盟合約，去年代表委瑞內拉參加世界棒球經典賽(WBC)，之後投身道奇小聯盟。
桑契斯可投出150公里以上速球，擅長的變化球種有變速球、滑球等。(姚瑞宸／綜合報導)
