精神狀況有異　媽媽狂拔女嬰手腳指甲

英國彼德伯勒(Peterborough)一名26歲、懷疑精神有問題的女子，承認持續一年強行拔掉年幼女兒的手指甲和腳趾甲，蓄意傷人罪名成立，法庭將在5月14日判刑，目前在等候被告女子的健康報告。

涉案女子從2009年開始，蓄意拔掉當時只有半歲女兒的手指甲和腳趾甲，醫生檢查女嬰發現她的手腳嚴重破損，涉案女子起初辯稱女嬰指甲受到感染，但醫生檢查後，找不到女嬰有任何健康問題，才揭發事件，女嬰事後交由政府照顧。（於慶中／綜合外電報導）
