狗狗危機　不明疾病奪17條命

英國近來發生至少17隻小狗因不明疾病死亡，當地獸醫警告飼主須提高警覺，一旦發現小狗皮膚有傷口，就要立即送醫檢查。

這波不明疾病從去年開始在康瓦爾郡(Cornwall)、薩里郡(Surrey)和烏斯特郡(Worcestershire)等地爆發，小狗先是下半截腿部皮膚開始潰爛，接著會陷入嚴重沮喪，食慾不振並嘔吐，在2到7天後發生腎衰竭最後死亡，獸醫表示類似的疾病1980年開始曾在美國爆發，稱為「特發性腎小球血管病變」（Alabama rot）。

英國爆發的這波疾病原因尚不明，當地環保單位懷疑可能是水污染導致，治療方式也尚不明確，不過獸醫表示越早發現越早治療，保住狗狗的性命的機率就越大，當地環保單位懷疑可能是水污染導致。（周佩萱／綜合外電報導）
