​曼德拉辭世　我外交部哀悼

【陳培煌╱台北報導】南非總統祖馬宣布前南非總統曼德拉於5日逝世，享壽95歲。這位生前致力調解黑白種族的諾貝爾和平獎得主，與中華民國有非常深厚的淵源。中華民國政府外交部長林永樂接受《蘋果》訪問表示，對於曼德拉辭世，外交部表示哀悼。

南非曾與中華民國有邦交關係。前駐南非大使陸以正在1990年11月接任南非大使，解決多件危及中斐兩國關係案件，包括台灣漁船越界捕魚、黑人船員凍傷事件等。之後，陸以正與曼德拉發展私人情誼，兩人私交甚篤，並促成1993年曼德拉訪台與1994年前總統李登輝參加曼德拉的總統就職典禮。

不過，在中國與南非共產黨的壓力之下，曼德拉最後於1998年宣布與中華民國斷交，隨即與中華人民共和國建交。
