〔自由時報記者張正邦／綜合報導〕8月23日，是林書豪和布萊恩的生日，兩大人氣球星卻分別有不同功課。人在中國的林書豪以宣傳慶生，而仍舊在傷勢中休養的布萊恩，則有嬌妻大方曬恩愛。

35歲的布萊恩，有太太凡妮莎在Instagram上傳兩人的甜蜜合照，，寫著「幫你慶祝22歲生日好像昨天才發生」，感嘆時光飛逝。滿25歲的林書豪，推特和臉書上也有球迷致上祝福，而他則在臉書放上口中充滿雷射光的逗趣照片答謝球迷。

兩人相差10歲，最為人知的交手就是2012年2月11日在紐約的比賽，當天林書豪狂飆生涯最高的38分，助尼克獲勝，賽後布萊恩受訪時還說：「他得了38分，我哪還需要給他什麼建議？」

總計從林書豪加入NBA至今，7次與布萊恩交手取得3勝，新球季豪爾德從湖人轉投火箭，兩隊交手除同日壽星碰頭外將會更有火花。
