維護青少年戲水安全　太平警辦泳訓營

【蔡智銘／台中報導】暑假才過了20天，台中市草湖溪就發生青少年戲水溺死意外，有鑑於太平區是全市危險水域最多的地區，包括蝙蝠洞頭汴坑溪上游水域、頭汴坑溪一江橋附近水域、頭汴坑溪仙女瀑布附近水域、頭汴坑溪靠近護國清涼寺之中埔3、 4號橋下方水域，每年暑假溺死悲劇頻傳，而且多數是國高中生，太平警分局今天特別舉辦游泳訓練營，除了例行的反菸宣導外，更重要教導小朋友水中自救。
 
提供場地的黃金水岸游泳教室負責人廖明寬說，看到許多孩子瞞著父母到溪裡戲水而發生意外，促使他開了游泳教室，希望培養小朋友游泳技能，熟悉水性，避免悲劇一再發生。
