外木山海域藏超毒水母 3千人長泳10傷

【綜合報導】基隆外木山四千公尺海上長泳活動昨登場，三千名泳客在此一較高下，儘管前天主辦單位已三度出海打撈水母，但仍有十多人遭水母螫傷。當地一名潛水教練批評，此水域約有六種水母，包含世界第二毒的僧帽水母，「辦活動根本就是害死人」。

當地一名潛水資歷三十年的教練說，外木山海域有別稱「葡萄牙戰艦」的僧帽水母及櫛水母，兩者毒性都很強，嚴重恐致命，批評：「這裡不適合辦活動，根本就是害死人！」但也有人認為今年遭水母螫傷人數下降，有進步。對此，主辦的暖暖高中校長許清和說，前天已請船家出海三次捕撈水母，昨海上有二十四艘船艇、四艘海巡署艦艇戒備，起點與終點都有救護站，無奈仍發生參賽泳客遭水母螫傷的狀況。
