植神經細胞 癱鼠恢復膀胱功能

（中央社倫敦30日綜合外電報導）美國科學家表示，他們為癱瘓老鼠修復脊髓損傷，已展現成效。

根據英國廣播公司新聞網（BBC News）報導，科學家將神經細胞移植到老鼠的脊髓，加上注射混合藥劑後，老鼠已恢復膀胱控制的部分功能。

研究發表在「神經科學期刊」（Journal ofNeuroscience）。

不過英國專家表示，還要數年研究才能考慮進行人體臨床試驗。

美國科學家進行複雜手術，將老鼠肋骨上的神經移植到脊髓缺口，同時使用1種特殊「膠水」，可以促使神經再生與連結。

研究人員首次發現，受傷神經細胞重新生長「明顯」（約2公分）。

研究主筆、凱斯西儲大學醫學院（Case WesternReserve Medical School）的席佛（Jerry Silver）博士表示：「儘管實驗老鼠沒有恢復行走能力，但膀胱功能有顯著恢復。」凱斯西儲大學醫學院位於俄亥俄州克里夫蘭（Cleveland）。
