擺脫先前被隊友、教練質疑，克里夫蘭騎士「愛神」Kevin Love重扮關鍵角色，單場攻下24分，助隊105：94擊退洛杉磯快艇，寫下12連勝。

「這無疑是我們表現比較好的一場比賽。」騎士總教練David Blatt表示：「即使對手實力這麼好，我們還是能延續氣勢。」

騎士除了Love，先發五人得分全部雙位數，「小皇帝」LeBron James繳23分、9助攻，J.R. Smith飆4記三分球，攻下16分，團隊籃板52：43領先，全場最多領先達32分。

「我厭倦了每個人都在談論Kevin Love，他並沒有做錯任何事。」Blatt說。

經歷這波高潮，原本勝率不達5成的騎士現在已經31勝20敗，暫居中央組龍頭，東區排名第3，一度傳出烏紗帽危機的Blatt也順利保住工作。
