當代「英國希望」Andy Murray在2015年澳網冠軍賽敗給塞爾維亞球王Novak Djokovic，同時締造一項紀錄。

Murray在2010、2011、2013年與今年都闖進澳網決賽，但全部輸球，是開放年代後，澳網第一位尚未拿過冠軍，卻拿過4次亞軍的球員。

Murray生涯4次澳網決賽，除了2010年輸給「費天王」Roger Federer，其餘3次都是敗在Djokovic拍下，包括今年。兩人生涯總對戰紀錄更新為16：8，佔上風的當然是Djokovic。

「我就是還不足以拿下這座獎盃。」Murray賽後說。

2013年，Murray拿下溫布頓男單冠軍，之後飽受傷痛困擾，2014年4個大滿貫只闖進過一次四強，世界排名一度從第2名跌到10名之外，目前則是排名第6。

「我們做了很多努力，試著回到巔峰。」Murray說：「很不幸地，我們今晚沒能做到，我會繼續加油，明年回來挑戰，並且寫下不一樣的結局。」
