美國時間的跨年夜，休士頓火箭「大鬍子」James Harden早時代廣場一步，上演不可思議的「煙火秀」，全場飆進生涯新高8記三分彈，率隊102：83轟垮夏洛特黃蜂。

Harden全場19投12中，三分球11投8中，飆36分、7籃板、6助攻，為1985年後首位單場投進8記三分球、命中率還能維持7成的火箭球員。

「James Harden做的太棒了。」火箭中鋒「魔獸」Dwight Howard說。

由於Harden主宰全場，Howard此役輕鬆打，貢獻11分、8籃板，魔獸表示：「他火力全開，攻擊籃框的任務很成功，而且投進很多三分球。」

「感覺真的很舒服。」Harden說：「整晚的出手感覺都很棒，我很有信心把球投進。」
