在巴黎文當廣場立起的充氣裝置作品，形似情趣用品肛塞，被不滿的法國人破壞，活動主辦單位和創作者決定不復原，以免再發生衝突。

文當廣場（Place Vendome）一帶是5星級飯店和名牌精品店匯集之處。這座24公尺的充氣作品由69歲的美國藝術家麥卡錫（Paul McCarthy）創作，取名為「樹」，立在文當廣場中央的「文當之柱」旁邊。

「文當之柱」是於1810年完工，紀念奧斯特里茲（Austerlitz）戰役勝利，目前正以巨型廣告版圍起來維修。

這棵「樹」是國際現代藝術節活動的一部分，外形很像巨大肛塞，有法國人感到不悅，昨夜前往拔掉打氣機的插頭，再趁警衛試圖插回插頭時，切斷維持作品平衡的繫帶，讓作品傾倒。

主辦單位之後決定把作品洩氣，現在只剩一團綠色塑膠皮，前後只立了3天。主辦單位接受法國媒體訪問時說，麥卡錫放棄把作品放回原位，以免再度被破壞，也擔心復原過程中發生衝突。

巴黎市長希達哥（Anne Hidalgo）和文化部長佩勒林（Fleur Pellerin）都譴責侵害藝術和創作自由的行為。(中央社)
