漫畫家敖幼祥於第五屆金漫獎獲「特別貢獻獎」，消息傳開，地方各界振奮；敖幼祥表示，台灣的漫畫界正處在一個轉捩點，盼政府扶植出版社當平台，漫畫界才能有第二春。

移居花蓮20年，敖幼祥在花蓮深耕，與花蓮市公所合作，利用閒置館舍，開闢「敖幼祥漫畫教室」，作為培育文創種子的基地。

花蓮市公所表示，敖幼祥獲頒文化部「特殊貢獻獎」，表彰他在漫畫領域的優異成績，希望他能提攜後進，再創漫畫文創高峰。

敖幼祥漫畫教室內長設展出全套烏龍院漫畫，及許多敖幼祥手繪四格漫畫；日前與氣球創作達人林恐龍共同舉辦「漫畫氣球實驗聯展」，創意無限；11月初將推出「藝氣去敖翔」漫畫與氣球聯展。

敖幼祥說，台灣的漫畫界由於欠缺平台，年輕人無處發揮，希望政府能扶植有品牌的出版社作為平台，為漫畫界開創第二春。(中央社)
