馬英九總統日前遭學生丟書事件，前民進黨主席蘇貞昌昨日表示，學生丟的是《被出賣的台灣》，又不是丟石頭、丟武器，學生想要丟書給總統看，「我們認為是剛好而已」。

蘇貞昌昨天到台南為多位民進黨籍市議員參選人成立競選總部站台，蘇貞昌被問及上周五馬總統被學生丟書的意見，蘇貞昌認為，學生是要丟書給總統看，不是扔武器，剛好而已。

而在丟書事件後，前天馬英九前往台南的行程，安檢比以前更加嚴格。蘇貞昌對此表示，維安有其必要，但不能矯枉過正，太過份就是擾民，像馬總統去看人瑞竟設7道關卡，甚至連記者都要坐接駁車採訪，「是國際大笑話」。

至於前副總統呂秀蓮昨出席民進黨台北市黨部黨慶活動時也表示，馬總統還有兩年任期，縱使每天被罵、被丟鞋、丟書還是沒用，因為馬總統還可以繼續做官，靠山也很穩。
