針對名嘴許聖梅在13日晚間被不明人士潑白漆一案，警方懷疑歹徒可能已經連續跟監許聖梅幾個月，所以才能精準掌握許聖梅行蹤，在她錄完影後，吃飯空檔就被攻擊。

而警方在完成初步警訊筆錄後也查出，兩名涉案男子是受某黑道大哥教唆，以5千元代價行凶；訊後，已在今（14）日上午，依恐嚇、毀損等罪嫌，將全案移送台北地檢署進行偵訊。

不過對於被潑漆一事，許聖梅在第一時間卻沒有馬上找警察報案處理，而是急著找記者哭訴，因此也讓外界質疑，是否有炒作的可能。

對於許聖梅聲淚俱下泣訴，《蘋果日報》報導，雞排妹鄭家純就十分不能認同，因此在臉書反嗆：「許聖梅所稱的『辛苦錢』到底有多辛苦？『完全不認識我，卻可以在節目上亂說胡扯在我身上』，認為許聖梅為了賺取通告費，不停在節目上『假推測真胡扯』來中傷別人『實在厲害』。」
