要死囚不得好死？　毒液注射超量15倍行刑

美國對死囚行刑再掀起爭議。亞利桑那州死囚伍德(Joseph Wood)上周被執行死刑，痛苦喘氣掙扎2小時才氣絕身亡，但報告指出，當時伍德的毒液注射，是常規毒針的15倍份量。

據《美聯社》報導，55歲殺人犯伍德上月23日被執行死刑，其律師貝謝(Dale Baich)取得的文件顯示，伍德死前被注射750毫克混合致命藥物，包括鎮靜劑「Midazolam」和止痛劑「Hydromorphone」，比當局規定的劑量高出14倍，讓原本10分鐘的行刑過程拖長至2小時，伍德喘氣掙扎超過600次才斷氣。貝謝形容這是「極可怕的拙劣行刑過程」，要求當局調查。

亞利桑那州州長布魯爾(Jan Brewer)則呼籲檢視現行的死刑過程。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
