近年重大傷亡事故 ◎2002年12月21日，復興航空791號ATR 72-200班機飛航途中機翼遭嚴重積冰後，在馬公西南方約17公里處墜海失事，機上駕駛員2人皆失蹤。
◎2005年8月6日，突尼西亞國際航空1153號ATR 72班機，因耗盡燃油在海面緊急降落時發生意外，16人死亡。
◎2010年11月4日，古巴加勒比航空公司的一架ATR 72-212民航客機在古巴中部城市聖斯皮里圖斯附近墜毀，機上68人全部死亡。
◎2013年10月16日，寮國航空公司一架ATR 72客機在南部占巴塞省失事，機上人員全部死亡。
