來不及長大幼豚擱淺花蓮海岸

【動新聞╱花蓮報導】花蓮縣秀林鄉秀林國中後方海邊，昨天上午8時許有民眾發現2尾鯨豚擱淺，岸巡人員獲報後前往查看，發現1尾鯨豚已被浪打上岸擱淺死亡，另1尾則是被浪捲入海游回大海，岸巡人員將這尾長約120公分的鯨豚運回板下安檢所存放，待中華鯨豚協會人員帶回處置。
板下安檢所長林建宏表示，擱淺死亡的鯨豚體型瘦小研判可能是隻幼小的弗氏海豚，頭部跟背鰭有明顯外傷，可能是迷路游上岸時被尖銳石頭割傷，傷痕累累，但因幼豚的身體還相當柔軟，可能才死亡不久，因為天氣炎熱為了不讓屍體發臭，幼豚屍體運回安檢所後仍給予沖水保濕。民眾說，「這尾來不及長大的幼豚，眼睛還半開著，看起來好可憐喔！」
