應材余定陸：20奈米及3D NAND將起飛量產

應用材料台灣區總裁余定陸指出，應用材料新的Endura Volta化學氣相沈積（CVD）系統在加入獨特的鈷金屬後，突破導線技術傳統瓶頸，讓摩爾定律持續向下精進到20奈米，堪稱近15年業界最重大的導線技術材料變革。另在製程上，他預期今年將是晶圓代工20奈米技術及3D NAND起飛量產的1年。

余定陸指出，由於拜半導體事業的蓬勃發展以及應材創新的技術優勢，應材第2季營收達23.5億美元，年增19%，毛利率也達44.2%。應材市佔率也來到近7年的新高，較去年提升1.4個百分點，在蝕刻與檢測機台產品在市場上也有所斬獲。

據統計，2010~2013年晶圓設備產業已連續4年資本支出都超過300億美元規模，今年可望再成長10~20%，余定陸預期，台灣晶圓設備市場成長尤為驚人，遠高於業界平均，預估到明年，近5年的成長率將達47%的水準。

在製程方面，余定陸認為今年將是晶圓代工20奈米技術及3D NAND起飛量產的1年，技術上最重要的轉折點包括從2D的微影微縮轉變為3D材料與結構上的創新，而使用的材料種類也同時大幅增加。（蕭文康／台北報導）
