紙箱公司洩染料　污染近3公里將受罰

宜蘭員山鄉製造紙箱的世鑫紙業公司，今傍晚，廠房後方印刷紙箱的紫色染料洩出，當時下大雨，紫色染料隨著水溝流出長達近3公里遠，連附近的員山阿蘭城生態池內都可見淡紫色水體，居民擔心污染擴大，或是有毒物質流出。
 
宜縣環保局長陳登欽率員前往稽查，以吸棉索阻住廠內染料洩出源頭，並找到連結染料桶的管子洩出染料。陳登欽說：初步檢驗，洩出染料在溫度上、酸鹼值，並未違規，不過，已採集檢體化驗，一星期後，若檢出違反相關規定，將以《水污法》裁罰10,000至300,000萬元。
 
世鑫紙業公司負責人曾初鑫說：當時是下班時間，絕非故意排放污染「我開工廠10多年來，這還是第1次」，會以環保局指示，進行相關改善作業，若無法改善願關廠負責。（游芳男／宜蘭報導）
