88球完封　艾瓦瑞茲省球一哥

馬林魚艾瓦瑞茲(Henderson Alvarez)成了大聯盟當今「省球一哥」，今天只用88球就投出個人本季第3場完封，幫助馬林魚以1比0力克光芒。艾瓦瑞茲前2場分別投5局、7局無失分，連同今天在內已連續21局無失分，只是前2場領先優勢都被牛棚敗掉，無緣拿下勝投，本季出賽12場，只靠3場完封拿下3勝。
 
艾瓦瑞茲本季平均每局投13.7球，大聯盟排名第2少，僅次於巨人哈德森(Tim Hudson)，另平均每名打者只投3.32球，大聯盟最省力投手。由於控球精準加上節奏快，今天雖然被敲8安打，5三振，但整場比賽只用2小時10分鐘。4月19日水手投手本季第1場完封，同樣也只投了90球。(王覺一／綜合報導)
