華南金控盃青少棒賽25日下午1時將在新莊球場進行最後決戰，由新北市與高雄市爭冠，獲得冠軍的球隊，將成為中華隊主體，參加8月底在墨西哥舉行的15U世界青少棒賽。

24日的準決賽，高雄市把握台東縣投手投出太多的保送以及守備失誤，以7比4贏球，新北市則在8局上把握得分機會，一口氣灌進8分，提前8局以10比0擊潰台北市，高雄市、新北市贏得挺進冠軍戰的資格。
