PChomePay支付連與宏碁7日對外共同宣佈締結合作，宏碁成為支付連策略股東。PChome Online網路家庭暨支付連董事長詹宏志，與宏碁董事長施振榮聯袂出席記者會，並發表對全球市場的布局。

在雙方宣佈的策略合作中，宏碁將參與支付連新一輪的增資計畫，認購700萬新發行股，成為策略股東。增資案完成後，支付連實收資本額預計將增至新台幣4.5億元。

詹宏志在會中表示，第三方支付服務是電子商務與網路應用服務的基本基礎建設，宏碁國際級的硬體設計與品牌市場經驗，將對發展網路支付應用提供更多不同的面貌。

施振榮也表示，此次投資與宏碁自建雲（BYOC）的推廣，是宏碁向硬體+軟體+服務轉型的重要部署。做為PChome集團的策略夥伴，初期將協助提供支付連網路交易平台付款閘道（Payment Gateway）與資訊安全的技術；長期而言，也有機會與PChome共同在平台上衍生硬體、軟體加服務的創新應用。

PChomePay支付連成立於2012年3月，第三方支付服務同時於露天拍賣全平台上線；2013年3月推出信用卡代收服務，露天近100萬微型賣家可直接在線上開通申請。
