我與甘斷交　台科大：該校甘學生確實沮喪

【陳威廷／台北報導】台灣與甘比亞斷交，目前台北科技大學有56名甘比亞學生就讀，校方表示，甘國學生就學權利不受影響，但也提醒他們行事低調、避免糾紛。

北科大主秘楊重光說，兩國斷交後甘國學生心情沮喪，傳言有學生因此缺席期中考，校方查證發現該生因感冒在家休養才會缺考，與斷交無關。楊重光指出，北科大目前有56名甘比亞學生，其中土木工程專班25人、都市與建築專班24人；另就讀大學部及碩士班共有7人，一共56名學生。專班學生是否能繼續就學，校方配合兩國政策，其餘7名大學及碩士班生就學權利不受影響。

楊重光說，斷交後甘國學生心情沮喪，也有女學生反映害怕、不敢出門，校方已進行安撫，並提醒他們行事儘量低調，避免無謂糾紛。
