眾院議長回擊　歐巴馬不應拒絕協商

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】美國總統歐巴馬於當地時間8日下午2時許召開記者會，強調願意協商但不接受要脅後，稍晚共和黨籍的眾院議長貝納也召開記者會回擊，稱不能接受歐巴馬始終拒絕協商。

貝納表示：「話已經說的很明白了，我們將要進行協商。若沒有處理讓我們借出更多錢以至於負擔不起的原因，我們不能提高債務上限。」貝納的這番話等於拒絕了歐巴馬稍早記者會釋出的善意，美國預算僵局恐將持續。
