【許麗珍／台北報導】除電梯故障殺人案外，電梯業者也違法不顧職災員工！美商大同奧的斯電梯公司台灣分公司連姓主管今出面控訴，今年3月進行電梯工程時發生職災，因公司電梯設計不良，又讓他單獨作業，他在機房工作時電梯突然啟動，發生職災，導致左手截肢、右手筋斷，他要求公司賠償500萬、精神賠償600 萬，但公司對其不理不睬。

連先生今天上午在市議員王孝維、童仲彥、張茂楠陪同下召開記者會，控訴資方違法行為。北市勞檢處長鄒子廉表示， 調查顯示，該業者確實有疏失，包括傳動鋼索無覆罩設備、機械運轉時現場無指揮人員，公司若未依《勞基法》給勞工職災補償，勞檢處將開罰業者；至於連先生要 求的賠償金，則屬民事訴訟。
