中元普渡紙錢減量 各界響應環保做功德
記者莊漢昌／台南報導 臺南市政府環保局推動紙錢減量，16日在全家便利商店東文店舉辦記者會，號召民眾中元普渡響應「以功代金」、「以米代金」，從源頭減少焚燒紙錢，維護空氣品質。 環保局長張皇珍說，焚燒1000公斤紙錢會產生1,500公斤二氧化碳、123公斤粒狀物，伴隨有多環芳香烴化合物、一氧化碳及氮氧化物，長期接觸產生皮膚、呼吸道、精神系統的疾病，危害人體健康。中元普渡「心誠則靈」，鮮花素果徒手祭拜，照樣誠意十足，環保又健康。 張局長指出，今年的中元普渡，將結合7個社福團體在崇孝塔、青草崙、新營福園、鹽水壽園、善化納骨塔、新市納骨塔、關廟納骨塔、將軍納骨塔、安定納骨塔、後壁納骨塔、歸仁納骨塔、南化懷恩堂、南化思親堂、永康納骨塔、八德安樂園等15處納骨塔設置示範點，宣導以功代金，歡迎民眾將省下買金紙的錢捐給社福團體做功德。
