窺探紐約狗籠公寓　見證窮人哀歌

【綜合報導】一個城巿越發達，有時貧富懸殊也越嚴重。在美國紐約曼哈頓唐人街邊緣，距蘇活區10分鐘路程的建築，就有所謂的「狗籠公寓。」

每晚租金僅10美元，約300塊台幣，住宿的地方僅有7呎乘5呎，比美國用來單獨囚禁犯人的8呎乘10呎的牢房還要小，滿地排泄物和垃圾，蟑螂橫行、蒼蠅亂舞，逾100個男人要共用一個浴室，裡面只有兩個洗澡空間，天花板還有剝落跡象。

74歲的房客羅德里格斯在這裏住了16年，生活窮困的他每月支付310美元，約9300台幣，就為這小小的家，小小的床。而且公寓管理不善，隔壁房的人死了15天才被發現，抬走屍體竟沒人清理房間，一直傳出屍臭味。
